Peter Molyneux finally did it. After spending nearly the entire Fable II development cycle behaving and staying within himself, Molyneux finally slipped up with just a tad of the trademark sensationalism that had him apologizing for the first Fable.
Speaking with GameTrailers, Molyneux spoke at decent length about Fable II. First of all, he makes it clear (again) that the game is, in fact, finished and that they are now in the process of spit-shining the finished product. Molyneux does admit that he had made some “atrocious mistakes” in some of his previous games. However, at about the five minute mark, Molyneux goes and… well, pulls a Molyneux:
We got plans for Fable three, four and five, actually. It’s a big story arch.
However, after saying that Molyneux quickly changes subjects to another Lionsgate game that he goes on to say he really couldn’t talk about. I think he may have realized that he was starting to get ahead of himself. Either way, watch the video for the full interview.
