NRDC Declares Wii ‘Greenest’ Console *cues Greenpeace Spittake*

The United States Natural Resources Defense Council has declared that the Nintendo Wii is the “greenest” video game console, meaning that it uses the least amount of energy and, therefore, is better for the environment.

If you have been keeping tabs on which game console is the greenest (and really, why haven’t ya?), then you are already well aware that this stands in direct opposition to Greenpeace, who has repeatedly declared that Nintendo is killing the planet and rotting your sex organs.

While this certainly looks like the NRDC and Greenpeace are going to be trading blows over who is less wrong than the other, it’s always important to note that at least the Wii doesn’t suck up a refridgerator’s worth of electricity, SONY.
