New Haze Gameplay Videos

Take a good look at the new exclusive* gameplay footage from the upcoming shooter/orgasm Haze, courtesy of G4’s The Feed.

Now I know we’ve all given Haze some shit over the past few weeks. There have been a lot of arguments that Haze is all graphics and no gameplay. But I have to say, the game looks like it plays pretty damn well. It may not be the end-all be-all of FPS titles, but it’ll definitely hold it’s own.

Unlike Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. Seriously, if you like that game, you hate democracy.

The second video shows off a pretty spiffy looking warehouse, and introduces us to a character who I only hope dies a terrible, terrible death in Haze. In this video you see the numeric ammo-counting system featured on all the firearms, and a teammate healing system that reminds me of Star Wars: Republic Commando… which is good.

Video #3 features one of Haze’s driving sections as the Rebels drive off towards a day at the beach. Or more slaughter. You can never tell with these guys.

I just hope the vehicles in Haze handle better than they do in Halo. Seriously, trying to maneuver a Warthog with any hope of precision in Halo 3 is akin to performing neurosurgery with your butt cheeks.

The final video shows the player throwing knives and going postal on an enemy stronghold near the end of the game.

I’ve had just about my fill of FPS games, but after seeing Haze in action… I want. Now.
