N-Gage is back! Kind of.

Nokia launched their N-Gage gaming service on Thursday, a cornerstone in Nokia’s internet service strategy. While no official announcement will be made until Monday, Nokia wanted the N-Gage faithful (all eight of you) to know that N-Gage is up and running:

We are live! The games, the devices, and the community are all here for you to finally get your teeth into. The Forums are back up and the new N-Gage application is here.

There will be an official announcement on Monday, but for you, the N-Gage faithful we wanted to let you know we’re up and running! So come join our moderators in the Forums for our launch party, and start enjoying the next generation of mobile gaming.

Now let’s Get Out and Play!

Current cell phone models that support the N-Gage service include the Nokia N73, N81 (and N81 8GB), N82, N95 (and N95 8GB). Support for the N93 and N93i will be coming in the near future.
