Monster Games have been working on Wii for 2 Years (Excite Truck 2!?)

Locally Grown North Field has a mini-interview with Richard Garcia of Monster Games up from last month, in which they write:

“Right now, the 20 employees at Monster Games are working on a top-secret video game for Nintendo. They’ve worked on it for two years and are nearly finished. The process is so private the designers must darken their monitors when the bottled-water deliveryman enters the office.”

I know my subject title may seem misleading, they have to darken their monitors for Excite Truck 2, waaa!? I do have my doubts. The consensus seems to be the more likely candidate would be F-Zero finally on Wii, even Wave Race, but I have my hopes for a proper sequel to one of the funnest racers ever since Beetle Adventure Racing. If anything, I could settle on Davidion from GAF’s request of, “EXCITE TRUCK VS. F-ZERO: BATTLE ROYALE.”

Honestly, my only gripe is this is news from last month that no one seems to have picked up. I think it is great that Monster Games is working on something at all, great devs.
