MK vs DC Writer: Lighten The Hell Up, Fanboys!

Jimmy Palmiotti, the writer behind Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, has a very special message for people who have been complaining about the fact that Scorpion can feasibly kill Superman: Lighten the hell up, bitches.

Speaking with MTV, Palmiotti addressed the issue of overzealous fanboys who dared to criticize the realism in pairing Sonya “Manjaw” Blade with Catwoman. What did the long-time comic book scribe have to say when asked (by himself) why Sub-Zero is beating the hell out of Batman?

Well, ha! Why? Because it’s fun, that’s why.

Fun? What on… what is this “fun” he speaks of? Is it some kind of cake? I mean, lord knows that a game can’t simply be “fun” anymore. It has to have continuity to the real world, and an inflated storyline that is driven by God-awful acting.

Mm, now I want cake.
