Microsoft, EA Confirmed for E For All… and That’s It

When the ECA announced that they were taking E3 out back and shooting it like a wounded mutt, many gamers put their hope in E For All to be the next big gaming convention, and while 2007 was pretty rough, it was to be expected.

Unfortunately, 2008 sounds to be even worse than 2007 as the only major publishers that have confirmed their presence for the event are Microsoft and Electronic Arts.

Many big names who made the show last year, including THQ and Konami, currently have no plans for attending the show this October. Nintendo, who had the biggest showing at E4A last year, has not confirmed their presence for 2008. Neither has 2K Games.

A few notable publishers that will not be attending E For All this year include:

Activision
Atari
Midway
Namco Bandai
SEGA
Ubisoft

…what makes this even worse for E For All? All the publishers listed in this article, sans Konami, will be at PAX 2008.
