Today Metal Gear Solid 4 has received a demo on the Playstation Network in Japan, only time will tell if an American demo will hit the stores. I hope so, because I think we all know how poor this game will do if people aren’t allowed to play it first. I hope this game is better than Metal Gear Solid 3, but I guess we’ll all hopefully find out soon enough!
Details on the demo are simple, you get to play the first stage of the “Middle East” portion of the game.
If you have a PS3 and don’t own the game yet, then I don’t know what is wrong with you. This game was the system seller. Having a demo come out so far after the game has been released is just about unheard of and really makes me unsure of the strategy being used here…. BUT, at least this means Sony is staying consistent as far as how the whole company seems to be run, which is having no real strategy (“lets release a demo for a game everybody has, but stick without having a small patch to put trophies in”)
