Metal Gear Jesus: Tactical Espionage Action

Every day this week Destructoid is going to be looking at different aspects of the Metal Gear franchise, leading up to the release of Metal Gear Solid 4 this week. Today, the good Reverend Anthony (appropriate, really) looks at the connections between certain characters in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, and their biblical counterparts.

Yes, their biblical counterparts. God, Jesus and the like. It’s an interesting, if not slightly farfetched read, but hey — even D’toid says that they’re doing this primarilly for shits and giggles, and to that extent, they succeed. At least, with one part — though I’m not telling which.

If nothing else, it’s pretty cool to see how the Metal Gear unit itself is, in essence, the wrath of God.
