Lost Planet Colonies – Video – Scans – Everything

Famitsu scans are running rampant with new information. Before Capcom has had a chance to announce anything really concrete about Lost Planet Colonies, the internet has busted this case wide open. First, sometime last week the achievements for the game were put out by 360sync, which might reveal a little bit of the focus for the game (note: Capcom was not pleased and they were taken down.. but what has been seen cannot be unseen). The achievements came down to the following:

Completing missions on Easy, Normal, Hard, and Extreme.
Collecting coins on Easy, Normal, Hard, and Extreme.
Trial battle mode (points and timed modes)
Point requirements in Score Attack mode.
Winning online battles.
Leveling up in online battles.
Receiving titles (?)
Acquiring medals.
Playing on various maps online.
Number of kills in online battles.

Gathering the achievement details along with the new Famitsu scans, we can state these facts about the game so far:

*New characters (scan shows female is playable)
*PC and Xbox 360
*Cross-platform play
*New Weapons
*New Maps (4 mentioned so far)
*Humans vs Akrid (the huge bugs)
*Play as the Akrid
*Trial Mode and Score Attack
*Grapple the Akrid (!)
*Japan release date of May 29th

Note: As I was about to post pics of scans, two other scans up, so below are all four that I was able to find, click any of them to see in full size.

Two videos have appeared on GameVideos, both multiplayer and single player. We have here the single player video, it is awesome… except for every scene shown are taken directly from the first Lost Planet. Boooo. I was in big time denial that this would be a “Lost Planet Remix” of sorts, but the below video confirms it.

Below is now the reason I will buying this game day one. Multiplayer. It does not disappoint at all. You have your huge aliens, sweet guns, and of course the VS suits (Mechs).

More information will be posted as it comes.
