Gary Oldman: ‘Dark Knight’ Game in the Works

I remember a while back there was a big stink over the fact that somebody said there wouldn’t be a video game adaptation based on The Dark Knight. Then again, I also remember that I once met Elvis Pressley in a Wendy’s bathroom, even though he had been dead 14 years by the time I was born.

Anyways, Gary Oldman, who plays Commissioner James Gordon in The Dark Knight, let slip to G4 that a game based on Heath Ledger’s swan song is in the works. Additionally, Oldman himself has “participated” in the game’s creation, which I think we can safely assume means he’s provided his voice.

The Batman Begins game wasn’t too terrible, though it was by no stretch a grand experience. However, with Pandemic Studios rumored to be working on the next Batman, hopes are high for the first truly great Batman experience.
