FlatOut debuts on PSP this March

There are few things in all of gaming more fun than blowing [expletive] up. Whether it be in a third-person shooter like Stranglehold, or a driving game like those in the Burnout franchise, gamers simply can’t get enough of the good ol’ Ka-Blooey! This may explain why the FlatOut franchise has become so popular. After all, in addition to all the metal-twisting carnage and madness that FlatOut offers, you also get to see your little avatar flail about as he goes flying through the windshield, landing in manners and positions that will have you sitting there blankly staring in shock as you think to yourself “…yep. Homeboy’s dead.”

Well, now you FlatOut fans can take the carnage on the road with you, as Empire Interactive has announced that FlatOut: Head on for the PSP will be heading to Europe on March 14th, 2008. This European release date will follow the US release date by three days (or March 11th, for you who can’d add).

FlatOut: Head On promises upwards of 4,000 individual destructible objects per track, all while holding steady at 30 frames per second. An impressive feat for a PSP game.
