It’s been a problem for the ESRB for years and years now, and finally the organization is acknowledging that the ESRB may have a bit of a problem with releasing game listings for games that weren’t exactly announced yet.
You see, in the past the ESRB has been notorious for publishing the ratings for games that publishers didn’t want the public to know even existed in the first place, and on a few occasions has taken the wind out of the sails of games that could have had a good deal of hype around it. But now, using a new system that will allow publishers to choose the listing date of a particular game, the ESRB is finally taking steps to solve this issue.
Fair play to the ESRB for… finally… getting around to fixing this long, nagging problem.

Nothing disappoints a woman more than when the two of you are just starting to develop a game, and suddenly, you rate it prematurely. It’s disappointing for her – and demoralizing for you.
It’s always better to let the woman rate the game first, and only then allow yourself to rate it.
