EA Sports Announces ‘Fight Night Round 4′

I know I’ve made no secret that I hate Electronic Arts CEO and Sith Lord* John Riccitiello, but I can’t deny that EA does make a mean boxing game — and they’re making a new one: EA Sports has announced that they are working hard on Fight Night Round 4.

EA Sports has not said much about Fight Night Round 4, but they have confirmed that the game will feature a completely re-worked gameplay engine that allows for more authentic boxing styles, as well as a new physics engine that, they say, will allow for unexpected animations.

Oh, and by merely existing it puts to rest the rumors that Facebreaker was the new boxing franchise for EA. I thought I’d point that out.

*May not be… fuck it, he is.
