If you own a PlayStation 3, there is good news for you. Sony has announced that the DUALSHOCK 3 (why do they insist on capitalizing everything?) is already on planes, trains and trucks, and en route to a GameStop or Best Buy near you.
DUALSHOCK 3 will continue to have SIXAXIS (see? They capitalize everything) technology built in, and will continue to be wireless. The major difference from the classic SIXAXIS controller is the inclusion of rumble, thus setting everything right in the world. Because of DUALSHOCK 3’s impending release, Sony has also announced that they will be discontinuing production on the standard SIXAXIS controllers — they won’t be missed.
DUALSHOCK 3 will cost the price of a full game ($54.99) and will be on sale really, really soon.
