January 24th, 2008. Mark that date. I’ll have it marked because I’ll be filling out invoices all day, but while I’m doing that you can be off having fun on either your Xbox 360 or your PlayStation 3 as Capcom will be releasing the demo for Devil May Cry 4.
The demo will consist of “a sampling of sections from the full game†that promises to show off DMC4’s varied locations while allowing you, the player, to familiarize yourselves to the franchise’s new protagonist, Nero. You’ll learn all about Nero’s unique abilities and weapons, including the Devil Bringer, and the new “Exceed†system that allows Nero to “rev up†his sword. Which doesn’t sound ridiculous in the least, but I’ve never been huge on the Devil May Cry franchise. Maybe this aspect makes more sense to you who enjoy the series, I don’t know.
The demo to Devil May Cry 4 will be available on both Xbox LVIE and the PlayStation Store on January 24th (Thursday) and will be playable in splendid 720p HD.
Rejoice.
