Couple Charged With Stealing Seven PSPs

You know, with all these politicians and TV pundits blaming video games for the downfall of western civilization, you would think that they would catch on that the real culprit is not Grand Theft Auto, but rather Sony’s PSP.

Rick Lee Miller and Audrey Ann Gordon were arrested at an Engelwood Wal-Mart after security cameras caught the happy couple trying to make off with seven PSPs. According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s police report, the two tried to make off with the PSPs after “acquiring” two of the keys to the electronic cases. Miller, the mastermind behind this operation, told deputies that they were both unemployed, and that they went to Wal-Mart “to get some money”.

Both Miller and Gordon are currently being held in the Charlotte County jail on charges of Grand Theft and Resisting a Merchant, both felonies. Miller is also charged with Posession of an Anti-Shoplifting Tool.
