If you are one of those sad saps who bought the Xbox 360 of Bully, you most assuredly know that the game is prone to frequent framerate drops, audio hiccups and outright freezing. However, Rockstar as of today these issues may be a thing of the past as Rockstar, making good on their promise for a patch to fix these issues, has released a patch that is supposed to have fixed these issues.

But has it?

There are still complaints, post-patch, from players who are still experiencing these glitches. In fact, on the official Xbox forums there are a couple of threads addressing the lack of repairs. Xbox LIVE member “shirtlover” sums it up:

“In 20 hours of gameplay I’ve only frozen twice. NOW that I get patched my sound is horrible and the framerate appears to be very jittery and I’ve locked up 3 times in less than 2 hours. WTF Rockstar? This is bogus.”

On MTV’s blog, Multiplayer, user tCobra notes that his game conitnues to freeze and suffer from poor framerate:

My Game is still freezing and and having frame rate drops. There are also auido giltches. It really is too bad this is a great game.

…English is not his forté.

So let me ask you all — has the patch fixed Bully for you? I’ve played it for about 45 minutes and to this point, there was only one instance of framerate hiccups, though I’ve noticed my audio quality go straight to hell. But I want to know if it’s working for you.
