Banjo Kazooie Web Site is Live

Is it worth installing new Microsoft product to see it?

Short answer, no.

Long answer, seriously, no, there is not one reason as of right now.

Banjo-Kazooie.com After “Silverlight”

Rare-Elite posted an updated message regarding the website from Rare themselves, “Like the game, the teaser site is still under construction and you can expect updates relatively soon.” So on the randomness of the website opening, as far as anyone can tell, it was just random. Nothing to see here. Just a force install of another unnecessary plug in.

Did Microsoft really find it necessary to use something other than flash? Does anyone like all flash sites anyways? Any Linux nerds pissed that Microsoft Silverlight is not compatible with your operating system (or is this the stuff you are used to when viewing web sites)? I put off entering codes from my Coke bottles just because I hate visiting the MyCokeRewards website with it being all flash (yet I am a bitch to them because I need a free subscription to Wired).

(This non-news posted only because I honestly can’t wait for the new Banjo game)

Strange. I didnt have to install everything. Maybe it came in a regular windows update?

It might have (haven’t updated my windows in a while). Wikipedia says it came April 2007, however with little to no web sites using it, I am guessing there is a good amount of people who don’t have it.

I am sure in the long run it will be a good thing, Microsoft doesn’t really make bad software (sans Vista), but for right now, I hate how it is trojan horsed on me for a web site that has no content yet.
