G4 has announced that X-Play host and all-around good guy Adam Sessler has undergone a superhero-like transformation from mild-mannered television personality to all-see, all-knowing, all-powerful Editor-in-Chief of G4 Games Content.

What does this mean for The Chosen One? Well, in addition to maintaining his duties as co-host of X-Play, Sessler is now in charge of all gaming content for the entire network.

In a press release issued by the network, G4 President and my future boss* Neal Tiles spoke highly of Adam:

Adam is an incredible resource and has helped position G4 and “X-Play” as the center of the gaming universe. We are lucky to have an industry expert with his experience, wisdom and passion, as well as his strong relationships throughout the gaming community, leading our team.

I started watching Adam when he was hosting GameSpot TV on ZDTV. Hell, I swore off a real career and got into video games because, frankly, I admire the guy.
