7-Eleven owns GameStop, Getting PLAYSTATION Cards

You know those PLAYSTATION Network cards that GameStop won’t start carrying until 2009? Yeah, somehow 7-Eleven and Rite-Aid were able to get their hands on the cards and will begin carrying them in September.

Let’s recap: GameStop, a boutique that deals almost exclusively with video games, has been one-upped by a pharmacy and a glorified liquor store. The cards will be available at Blockbuster as well, not that anybody cares about Blockbuster, anymore.

I don’t know if any of you care about the cards, but I have to say — it’s nice to know where I’ll be able to actually find them, now.
